Salute to the 40’s

Back in May, the Midwest Raiders met up down in Savannah, Tennessee. While the event itself was focused on the European Theater of operations and included two skirmishes throughout the day, the Midwest Raiders were invited to represent the 4th Raiders on New Georgia at Salute to the 40’s.

Unfortunately, poor weather limited crowd size for much of the event. While the Midwest Raiders spent the majority of the weekend off in the corner so as to not interfere with the larger event, much fun was still had even in the pouring rain. Thankfully the weather cleared up in time for the USO dance and, dressed in their hodgepodge liberty uniforms, the Midwest Raiders cut loose and showed how Raiders party.
